Workshop Japanese Bondage: The Gote II (The Second Rope)

This workshop is focused on the technical aspects, correct execution and application (floorwork) of the "two rope Gote". We not only focus on how to tie, but also on the logic behind the ties and how the different elements link together. This workshop is the perfect follow-up to the Workshop Japanese Bondage: The Gote I (The First Rope) but anyone that fulfills the requirements can attend (see below). For people that are already familiar with the two-rope gote, this workshop can still offer technical details and insight.

The curriculum is focused on developing the skills of both the rigger as the model (the tied person, bottom, bunny, etc). Because there are exercises for both, switching is not allowed during this workshop. The workshop is presented in either Dutch or English (differs one month from the next). The spoken language is mentioned in the ticket title. .

Technical Requirements (r)igger & (m)odel
  • Correct execution of the "one rope Gote" (r)
  • Correct execution of a "single collumn tie (r)
  • Correct posture (m)/ placement (r) of the arms for a gote
  • Basic understanding of the concepts: "reverse tension", "cinching", "frictions".
  • Basic knowledge of safety (r/m) and physical symptoms (m)

Every requirement on this list is covered in the Workshop Japanese Bondage: The Gote I (The First Rope). If you attended this workshop, this is the perfect follow-up ;). If you have any doubts if you fulfill the requirements above, consider attending Workshop I first, or contact us in advance.

Location
We have temporarily moved to a venue in Rotterdam City Center (Oude Westen). It's address is disclosed in the workshop ticket. Please be aware of paid parking in this area (it is easily reached by public transport from Rotterdam Central Station). The location is on the third floor so not handicap-accessible.
